Video Post-Production Workflow at C King Media

Understanding the Video Post-Production Workflow at C King Media

At C King Media, we believe in making the post-production process smooth, collaborative, and efficient—for both our clients and our team. Over the years, we’ve refined a workflow that ensures your content is delivered quickly, accurately, and without confusion.

Whether you're ordering one video or a full campaign, here’s what you can expect once we enter post.

Why a Defined Workflow Matters

When a video project stretches out due to long gaps in communication or delayed feedback, it can disrupt the creative flow, slow down delivery, and impact storage and scheduling. That’s why we follow a structured, client-friendly post-production process that keeps things moving without overwhelming anyone.

Step 1: Delivery of Drafts

Once filming wraps, we deliver your first video drafts—typically within 1 to 2 weeks, depending on the complexity of the project.

We send drafts through Frame.io, our collaborative video review platform. It’s a powerful tool that makes revisions simple and clear. Even though it requires a quick account sign-up, it’s well worth it—Frame.io allows everyone on your team to:

  • Watch the video directly

  • Leave comments in real time at exact timestamps

  • Collaborate in one centralized space

This helps avoid long email chains or confusing feedback across multiple platforms.

Step 2: Providing Feedback

We kindly ask that clients provide revision notes within 72 hours of receiving their video drafts. This keeps the momentum going and allows us to meet your timelines while your content is still top of mind.

Important: All feedback must be submitted through Frame.io only.
We don’t accept timestamps via email or other platforms, and here’s why:
If you request a cut or adjustment that changes the video’s length, any emailed timestamps quickly become inaccurate. Frame.io ensures that everyone is referring to the same version of the video, down to the second.

Step 3: Revisions and Finalization

Every video project includes up to three rounds of revisions. Once you've left your comments in Frame.io, just let us know (email or text is fine) when all feedback is in, and our team will get to work.

After your revisions are completed, we’ll upload the updated version to Frame.io for your final review.

Step 4: Final Approval and Delivery

Once all videos in your project are approved, we’ll provide download links for final delivery. These links are active for 14 days, so we recommend saving your files locally right away.

To protect our internal systems and storage limits, we do not guarantee long-term archiving of your project files. Once your videos are delivered, they are considered complete and will be deleted.

Note:
All videos in your order must be fully approved before we release final downloads. We do this to keep the workflow efficient and to ensure no part of the project is left unfinished for long periods. Similarly, we ask that projects be paid in full before final delivery, unless otherwise arranged in writing.

Why This Works

This process ensures faster turnarounds, cleaner edits, and less back-and-forth. It also helps keep everyone—clients and editors—aligned at every stage of the process. Our goal is to deliver polished, high-quality video content with minimal delays and clear expectations.

If you ever have questions about how this works or need help navigating Frame.io, we’re happy to walk you through it.
