William always knew what he wanted. From a young age, he dreamed of joining the Air Force and seeing the world. That dream became a reality. He served for twenty-one years, building a career rooted in service, discipline, and leadership. After retiring from the military, William returned home to Plattsburgh, New York. There, he met his wife, started a family, and raised three children.

He even created a website called Fit at 50 and Beyond, where he shared blog posts encouraging people to take their health seriously. For William, prevention and checkups were essential.

But like many others, the pandemic interrupted those routines. Two years passed without a standard checkup. And when he finally went in, he expected it to be simple. It was not.

The Diagnosis That Changed Everything
