MedStar Health Liver Walk in Washington, DC: Event Photography and Video Coverage on the National Mall

MedStar Health’s annual Liver Walk on the National Mall in Washington, DC brought together a large group of participants, teams, and supporters for a focused cause. We were brought in to provide event photography and video coverage with a clear objective. Capture content that could be used not only to document the day, but to support future campaigns, fundraising efforts, and ongoing communication.

Our approach was straightforward. Capture the full scope of the event while also paying attention to the smaller, more personal moments throughout the day. Wide shots helped establish the scale and location, while closer interactions added context and depth. This combination allows the final content to feel complete and usable across multiple platforms, whether for internal use, social media, or external marketing.

Working across the National Mall requires a lot of movement and awareness. The environment is open, the crowd is constantly shifting, and the most important moments are not scheduled. Our team stayed mobile throughout the event, adjusting in real time to capture what was actually happening rather than forcing anything to look staged. That flexibility is what allows event coverage to feel natural and accurate.

The end result is a collection of images and video that extend the life of the event. Instead of the experience ending that day, the content continues to support visibility, engagement, and future outreach. For organizations like MedStar Health, that kind of coverage becomes part of how they communicate their impact over time.
